Chris is the owner of CrossFit Brendale and CrossFit Might [Deception Bay] with over 25 years of military service shaping his leadership, discipline and resilience. A proud dad to two young men, Chris brings his values of hard work, community, and integrity into every session. His mission is simple - create a space where everyone feels welcome, supported and empowered to become the best version of themselves. If you're new to CrossFit or starting back wanting to achieve goals for your health, Chris is passionate about making sure you walk out stronger—physically and mentally—than when you walked in.

Mark
Mark is a seasoned CrossFit trainer with over a decade of hands-on experience in the sport. Holding a CF-L2 credential, he’s also certified in CrossFit Weightlifting, Nutrition, Scaling, and Masters, along with AWF Level 1 and Level 2 coaching accreditations. Mark blends deep technical knowledge with a passionate, athlete-first coaching style, helping individuals of all levels move better, train smarter, and enjoy every session. A proud Liverpudlian and lifelong Liverpool FC supporter, Mark brings the same energy and commitment to the gym that he does to his other passion—music. As an accomplished professional guitarist and vocalist, he knows the power of rhythm, discipline, and connection. Whether you're chasing PRs or just starting out, Mark’s goal is simple: to make CrossFit the best hour of your day.

Rob
With over 27 years in the fitness industry and 17 years dedicated to CrossFit, Rob brings decades of experience, passion and proven results to every athlete he coaches. His journey has been fuelled by a love of movement, performance and helping others achieve their goals - whether they're stepping into the gym for the first time or chasing elite-level performance. Prior to moving to Australia, Rob was an 11 year Affiliate Owner. Additional qualifications include CrossFit Mobility, CrossFit Olympic Lifting, CrossFit Football/Power Athlete, Pose Running Method, Aerobic Capacity [Chris Henshaw], Agatsu Kettlebell, CrossFit Scaling and in-progress currently, CrossFit Nutrition. He believes fitness should enhance life, not just change bodies and he strives to create an environment where people feel supported, challenged and empowered. Outside the gym, Rob prioritises family time and finds joy in staying active through basketball and surfing. These passions Rob says keep him grounded, energised and connected to the lifestyle he encourages others to embrace.

Matt
With a strong foundation as a Physical Training Instructor in the Australian Defence Force since 2018, Matt has spent the majority of his career, coaching military personnel in strength, endurance and resilience. He holds a CF-L1 credential and is currently finalising his Level 2. His coaching experience is vast, working with athletes and civilians across the UK and Australia and his background includes over 15 years of elite-level football, including time as a professional player in the UK and a long-standing member of the Army team. Matt's coaching philosophy blends functional strength, intelligent nutrition, and precision training to help clients move better, perform stronger —without fluff, just focused, effective training with purpose.
